THE developer continues to prioritize making Greenfield City the best alternative place to live, work and play outside of overcrowded Metro Manila with new developments in the pipeline for the year. At present, it already showcases sought-after residential communities, pioneer outlet malls, al-fresco shopping malls, a booming business district and a sprawling industrial estate.

This evolution began in 1998 with the Paseo Outlets, the first outlet shopping hub in the country in a 16-hectare land at the corner of Laguna Boulevard and Santa Rosa-Balibago Road. Paseo Outlets eventually became a weekend destination for urban dwellers that are looking for bargain finds and good food.

In response to the growing number of shoppers, another mall, the 10,000-square-meter Laguna Central, was opened soon after. Laguna Central is where shops, restaurants, entertainment venues, and a hypermart, are set amid verdant landscapes. Meanwhile, Arcadia, a three-story commercial building beside Paseo Outlets, opened the following year.

A new transport terminal will soon be operational within the Paseo complex, as part of a bigger development plan that Greenfield will undertake to show the company’s trust and commitment to the city of Santa Rosa, and to contribute to the city’s dynamic economic growth.

With providing more employment opportunities in mind as well, the developer established Greenfield Auto Park which is a 65-hectare eco zone that hosted the assembly plant of carmakers and factories. There are also information technology, food and beverage as well as telecommunications companies at the zone.

Greenfield also built the Santa Rosa Business Park which is an 11-hectare mixed-use property with advanced communication infrastructure that now has health-care facilities, offices for multinational firms, a hotel (Paseo Premiere Hotel) and residential buildings.

Integral to Greenfield City are its residential communities. Greenfield launched the 30-hectare Pramana Residential Park along Greenfield Parkway and is touted as the first residential park in the country. Solen Residences, a 55-hectare residential enclave, was established just across Pramana and features modern Asian-inspired houses.

Up next in its list of residential developments will be Trava, a 31-hectare subdivision development that boasts of unparalleled features, amenities, and is designed to have a mix of residential and commercial components with landscaped parks.

Meanwhile, there is also Zadia, a new vertical community that provides the best of both worlds for those looking for a quiet, nature-inspired lifestyle but also desire the conveniences of condominium living. The 36,000-sq-m Zadia promises to infuse “Greenspiration” in its way of life which is achieved through its low-density design nestled amid lush gardens and greeneries.
